Email hello@firstlightalarm.com and you'll hear back from a real person — usually within a day or two.
This is the one thing the app has to get right, so please tell us if it ever happens — include the time it was set for and roughly when you noticed. In the meantime, check:
Yes. First Light uses Apple's AlarmKit, the same system the built-in Clock app uses, so it rings through Silent mode and Focus.
A small thing you do instead of snoozing — meditating, push-ups, squats, journaling, reading, prayer, or a walk. The alarm doesn't go quiet until it's done.
Prop the phone where it can see you move, and give it a moment. If it still can't see you, the timer runs anyway after about twenty seconds, and there's a "Just run the timer" button — you'll never be stuck.
No. During exercise missions the camera frames are reduced to a coarse brightness pattern to detect movement and then discarded immediately. No video is recorded. Photos you take for a mission stay in the app's private storage on your phone. See the privacy policy.
Yes — add as many as you like, each with its own time, days, sound and mission. A weekday and a weekend alarm is the common setup.
Your level is the number of mornings you've won, and it never resets. Your streak counts consecutive days. Named ranks arrive at 7, 30 and 66 mornings — 66 being the average time research suggests a habit takes to become automatic.
It's gone. Everything is stored only on your device, so deleting the app deletes your history with it. There's no account and no backup on our side.
There's a "Suggest a feature" link on the app's home screen, or just email us. The roadmap is genuinely shaped by what people ask for.
